FFK meets up bail, reclaims freedom


Femi Fani-Kayode who was arrested by EFCC operatives on October 21st on allegations of N26 million money laundering charges, today regained his freedom after spending 24 days in EFCC detention. He fulfilled his N50m bail application today.

In his first message on social media since his arrest, he wrote: “Thanks be to God. After another 24 days in detention I am finally out. Thanks for all ur love, prayers and support. We shall prevail.”

He further added: “Always remember that rebellion against a tyrant is an act of obedience to God. They may have today but tomorrow belongs to us.”

Fani Kayode was released on the 14th of November after he met his bail conditions. This was revealed in an official statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jude Ndukwe.
