Kogi State Govt in court

The Kogi state government has been dragged before the national industrial court by the 142 transport workers placed on compulsory leave since 2011.
The affected workers who worked at the Kogi state transport company limited were summarily asked to proceed on compulsory leave without pay since june 30, 2011.
Their counsel, Mr Aduojo Abah asks the court to compel the state government to pay n388.4 million to them as arrears to the workers with effect from january, 2017 till the final determination of the suit.
He also requested immediate resumption of the workers, and n10 million as damages for his clients from the defendants.
All the defendants however have 14 days to respond to the complaints lodged against them
