The Nigeria health sector is about witnessing a new development that will help patients to obtain medical care online when it becomes fully operational. DabaDoc which is a Moroccan based healthcare startup has announced its plan to establish its presence in Nigeria and South Africa.
DabaDoc which began in Morocco aims at helping patients to book appointment in medical facilities or with medical practitioners closer to their location through DabaDoc online platform.
Since the inception of the online platform in 2013 in Morocco, many doctors in 72 areas of specialization in medicine have registered with the site from 50 cities in the country.
The company has planned to expand its services throughout Africa beginning with countries that present great market potentials. It has started its expansion move by establishing its presence in Tunisia and Algeria in May 2015. As part of its expansion strategy, the company has announced its plan to launch in Nigeria and South Africa.
DabaDoc is a medical booking appointment startup established in 2013 in Morocco by Zineb Drissi Kaitouni and Drissi Kaitouni. The objective of the founders of this platform is to provide quality services to both patients and professionals. DabaDoc has its headquarters in Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco.
